Consulting
Research Data Consulting
The SDSC Research Data Services team leverages decades of technical experience and a wealth of UC institutional knowledge to provide expert administration and troubleshooting services within a fee-for-service model to UC San Diego, the UC system as a whole, and UC affiliates.
Consulting is most commonly used by research labs and other groups on the UC San Diego campus as a way to maximize research resources. By relying on the SDSC Research Data Services team to render services only when necessary, Research Data Consulting users afford top-tier research data support without having to devote lab staff to partial time technical support duties that may be outside their areas of expertise.
As the first GO FAIR office in the United States, SDSC Research Data Services now offers FAIR data consulting services.

ENS also maintains the San Diego Network Access Point (SD-NAP), which is a neutral network traffic exchange facility where local data service providers exchange internet traffic. Major SD-NAP connections include ISPs, Internet2, and CENIC, which ensure that SDSC Colocation and other service users enjoy high performance connections to external networks.
