SIAM Conference on Parallel Processing Calls for Posters for San Francisco Meeting
Published December 30, 2003
There is still time to submit poster presentations to the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics' (SIAM) Eleventh Conference on Parallel Processing for Scientific Computing to be held February 25-27, 2004, in San Francisco. This is an excellent opportunity for researchers who may have missed the regular paper deadline to actively participate in the conference. This also might be a good opportunity for graduate students and junior researchers to expose their work to a large audience, since organizers expect about 400 participants. Researchers interested in submitting a poster should send the poster title, a 75-word abstract and the name, affiliation, and e-mail address of the presenting author and each co-author, to Padma Raghavan at pxr3@psu.edu by Thursday, Jan. 15, 2004. This series of conferences has played a key role in promoting parallel scientific computing and parallel numerical algorithms. The conference is distinguished by its emphasis on the mathematical and technical aspects of scientific computing on parallel machines. The conference provides a forum for communication among the scientific computing, information technology, and computational science and engineering communities.
